Denmark: CFCS publishes guidance on use of communication platforms

The Centre for Cyber Security ('CFCS') published, on 31 March 2020, guidance ('the Guidance') on the safe use of communication and collaboration platforms for working for home purposes. In particular, the Guidance highlights that a risk assessment should be conducted prior to the use of such platforms, especially where they are to be used to process information of a sensitive nature. In addition, the Guidance recommends that companies and authorities should clearly disclose to their employees what platforms can be used for work-related collaboration following the risk assessment. By extension, the Guidance outlines that internal rules should be laid down as to what information can be shared on the platforms and how.

You can read the press release here and the Guidance here, both only available in Danish.
