Japan: JIPDEC releases report on corporate IT utilisation trends
The Japan Institute for the Promotion of Digital Economy and Community ('JIPDEC') released, on 16 March 2020, its preliminary report on the results of its corporate IT utilisation trends survey 2020 ('the Report'). In particular, the Report analyses, among other things, the use of cloud services, information security incidents related to personal information, data transfers, and fines as well as violations of data protection legislation. Moreover, the Report results are based on surveys conducted with 878 companies in Japan.
