DIFC: Commissioner joins Global CAPE
On April 18, 2024, the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Data Protection Commissioner's Office (the Commissioner) announced via LinkedIn that it had been accepted as a participant in the Global Cooperation Arrangement for Privacy Enforcement (Global CAPE). The Commissioner explained that as early adopters in the development of the Global Cross-Border Privacy Rules (CBPR) Forum, it would continue its efforts to add CBPRs as an option for data transfers.
