EU: Commission closes case against Portugal and Sweden for delayed entry into force of national measures transposing Whistleblowing Directive

The European Commission announced, on 26 January 2023, its decision to close the case against Portugal and Sweden regarding their delayed entry into force of national measures transposing the Directive on the Protection of Persons who Report Breaches of Union Law (Directive (EU) 2019/1937) (23 October 2019) ('the Whistleblowing Directive'), after it had sent a formal notice two both countries on 9 February 2022.
