International: OECD announces Mali to join Global Forum on Tax Transparency
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development ('OECD') announced, on 13 February 2020, that Mali will become a member of the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes ('the Global Forum'). In particular, Mali will implement the internationally agreed standards of transparency and exchange of information for tax purposes, including the exchange of information on request and automatic exchange of information. Moreover, Mali will be subject to monitoring and peer reviews and make use of the Global Forum's technical assitance programme to implement the required standards.
