Kyrgyzstan: Agency publishes supervisory report as of December 2023
On January 11, 2024, the State Agency for the Protection of Personal Data (Agency) published an infographic on the indicators of the Agency's performance as of December 31, 2023. In particular, the Agency noted the following:
- 3,552 opinions were given at the request of the state and municipal bodies, legal entities, and individuals;
- 152 incidents of violation of legislation in the field of personal data protection were identified and responded to;
- 18 legislative and local acts were developed;
- 1,128 legal entities were registered in the Register;
- 30 trainings were conducted in the field of personal data protection;
- 1,619 state and municipal employees and representatives of commercial organizations were trained at the Agency;
- 53 inspections of state and their subordinate organizations; and
- 10 cooperation agreements were signed.
