Maine: AG announces Managed Care of North America data breach
On May 26, 2023, the Maine Attorney General (AG) announced that Managed Care of North America, Inc. had suffered a data breach between February 26, 2023, and March 8, 2023. The AG specified that the breach was brought to the attention of Managed Care of North America on May 3, 2023, and that it involved the personal data of 8,923,662 individuals. The breach occurred as a result of the hack of an external system, and the incident involved the social security numbers of the affected individuals.
