Nova Scotia: OIPC issues 2018-2019 annual report
The Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for Nova Scotia ('OIPC') issued, on 5 June 2019, its 2018-2019 Annual Report ('the Report'). In particular, the Report provides an overview of the OIPC's case load, reported breaches, and the tools created to strengthen privacy protections, such as a chief privacy officer toolkit, handbooks, and a privacy impact assessment template for health custodians.
