Slovakia: ÚOOÚ publishes 2021 activity report
The Office for the Protection of Personal Data for the Slovak Republic ('ÚOOÚ') published, on 11 July 2022, its 2021 report on the state of personal data protection. In particular, the ÚOOÚ noted that the report is an overview of its activities in the monitored period. Moreover, the ÚOOÚ highlighted that, among other things, in the period from 1 January to 31 December 2021, 61 inspections were completed, of which 19 were initiated in 2021 and 42 in the previous period.
