UK: Data Protection and Digital Information Bill passes committee stage
On April 24, 2024, the Data Protection and Digital Information (No. 2) Bill underwent its final day of the committee stage, during which the bill was examined line by line. The next stage, known as the reporting stage, offers another opportunity to closely scrutinize aspects of the bill and propose changes. However, as of now, a schedule for this stage has not been determined.
