Ukraine: Commissioner announces first steps on AI regulation
On November 28, 2023, the Ukraine Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights (the Commissioner) announced the beginning of discussions on a project concerning artificial intelligence (AI) regulation, during a meeting. The project will contain recommendations from experts from EU4DigitalUA. The Commissioner highlighted that this is the first step on the path of regulating AI in the country, with special attention to the protection of personal data and human rights. Furthermore, the Commissioner noted that questions regarding AI regulation and personal data protection can be sent to [email protected].
