Algeria: Presidential Decree appoints members of data protection authority
Presidential Decree No. 22-187 of 18 May 2022 on the Appointment of the President and Members of the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data ('the Presidential Decree') was published, on 18 May 2022, in the Official Gazette. In particular, the Presidential Decree appointed the President and the Members of the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data for a period of five years.
