Bulgaria: Whistleblower Protection and Public Disclosure Act enters into force
The Whistleblower Protection and Public Disclosure Act of 2 February 2023 entered into force, on 4 May 2023. In particular, the Act was adopted, on 27 January 2023, by the National Assembly thereby transposing into Bulgarian law the Directive on the Protection of Persons who Report Breaches of Union Law (Directive (EU) 2019/1937) ('the Whistleblowing Directive').
