Florida: Bill concerning the sale of a deceased individuals' biometric data died in State Senate Committee

On March 8, 2024, Senate Bill 504 for an act relating to the sale of a deceased human body's biometric data died in the Banking and Insurance Senate Committee.

If passed, the bill would have provided conditions authorizing the sale of biometric data related to a deceased human body, as well as the right to opt out of such a sale.
