International: CoE invites Niger to accede to Budapest Convention
The Council of Europe ('CoE') announced, on 23 April 2020, that it had invited Niger to accede the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime ('the Budapest Convention'). In particular, the CoE highlighted that Niger had become one of ten states that have signed or been invited to accede to the Budapest Convention, which currently has 65 parties.
