Lower Saxony: LfD Niedersachsen publishes health care FAQ
The Lower Saxony data protection authority (LfD Niedersachsen) published an updated frequently asked questions (FAQs) for January 2024 concerning the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the health care sector.
In particular, the LfD Niedersachsen highlighted that the FAQs apply to all health care professionals including doctors, dentists, psychotherapists, physiotherapists, and other health care professionals. The FAQs also apply to pharmacists as well as those involved in nursing services and similar facilities as patients.
