Washington: AG clarifies privacy policy requirements under My Health My Data Act

The Washington State Attorney General (AG), Bob Ferguson, updated the frequently asked questions (FAQs) on the My Health My Data Act. The update clarifies question four of the FAQs which addresses 'whether a business that is covered by the My Health My Data Act is required to place a link to its Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy on their homepage?' On this, the AG further added that the consumer health privacy policy must be a separate and distinct link on the regulated entity's homepage and may not contain additional information not required under the Act.
