China: CAC releases fifth batch of deep synthesis service algorithm registration information
On April 11, 2024, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) announced the release of the fifth batch of deep synthesis service algorithm registration information.
In particular, the CAC highlighted that in accordance with Article 19 of the Regulations on Deep Synthesis of Internet Information Services in-depth synthesis service providers with public opinion attributes or social mobilization capabilities should perform registration, change, and cancellation registration procedures.
