China: TC260 issues eight national standard projects for network security
On April 3, 2024, the National Information Security Standardization Technical Committee (TC260) announced the release of a list by the National Standardization Administration Committee with eight recommended national standard projects for network security, including but not limited to:
- password authentication systems and related security;
- public key and cryptography;
- identity authentication;
- data interface security risks and monitoring methods;
- network security operation and maintenance implementation; and
- security and personal information.
The TC260 requested the affiliated working groups to formulate a project promotion plan and provided that the approval due date is set for September 25, 2025.
