Saskatchewan: SLGA suffers cybersecurity incident

The Government of Saskatchewan announced, on 28 December 2021, that the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority ('SLGA') was subject to a cybersecurity incident on 25 December 2021, which impacted the SLGA's computer systems. In particular, the Government noted that the SLGA took steps to secure its systems and mitigate the impact to their data and operations. Moreover, the Government highlighted that the SLGA has temporarily disabled certain computer systems and applications as it investigates this incident and the SLGA will bring said systems back online once its advisors have addressed the incident.
