African Bodies: CIPESA announces partnership with Internet Society

The Collaboration on International Information and Communications Technology Policy in East and Southern Africa ('CIPESA') announced, on 20 August 2021, that it had signed an agreement with the Internet Society to work together for an open, secure, and trustworthy internet for Africa. Moreover, CIPESA noted that the agreement commits the Internet Society and CIPESA to advancing progressive internet policy, advocating for cooperation in networking, encryption, and measuring the health of digital infrastructure in the region.
