New Jersey: Bill on personal information transparency obligations referred to Assembly Committee

Senate Bill 332, requiring commercial internet websites and online services to notify consumers of the collection and disclosure of personally identifiable information and to allow consumers to opt-out of such processing, was referred, on 6 February 2023, to the Assembly Committee on Science, Innovation and Technology. Notably, the bill was introduced to the Senate on 11 January 2023 and passed by the same on 2 February 2023.
